Governance | Uganda Bowls

Uganda Bowls is the national sporting organisation responsible for the leadership, development and management of lawn bowls and indoor Bowls in Uganda. Uganda Bowls is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary board that provides the strategic direction for the sport and the strategies that are implemented by the staff at the national office.

Uganda Bowls is affiliated with World Bowls and Commonwealth Games Uganda where it is a core sport in the Commonwealth Games held every four years.

Within the sports structure in Uganda, below the Ministry of Education and Sports is the National Council of Sports holding the regulatory mandate of all national sports governing bodies. Uganda Bowls is the National Governing Body for all forms of Bowls within Uganda.
